As the President of the Piscataqua Chapter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF),I invite you to attend one of our monthly meetings to discover the benefits of being a member of the American Culinary Federation. Please consider attending our next meeting to learn more about the many opportunities available to you through membership in the Piscataqua Chapter of the American Culinary Federation.
The American Culinary Federation Inc., a professional organization for chefs and cooks, was founded in 1929 in New York City. The organization is based on promoting the professional image of American chefs worldwide through education of culinarians at all levels. The ACF is made up of more than 20,000 members who belong to more than 200 chapters in four regions across the United States. We offer culinary competitions, certification, a national apprenticeship program, regional and national events, publications and much more to help foster the growth of professional chefs and cooks.
The year was 2000 and I was working in a kitchen as a line cook where the Chef was an avid ACF member, he had talked to me many times about getting serious about my career in the food service industry. After a few months of him and I talking about it I decided to go to a meeting as a guest where I ended up meeting lots of other cooks and foodies that would like to network and or further their careers in the food world. The instant camaraderie was what got me to continue to go to meetings and in 2001, I decided to become a member of this great organization. The continued education that we provide and the good friends that I have made locally and around the globe has kept me hooked.
I look forward to meeting you at one of our next meetings. In the meantime, if you would like more information about how ACF membership can benefit you, please feel free to contact me at email@example.com
